Updated: Mar 4, 2023

Hey there, parents!

Steve Pilot here, your trusty vegan coach and certified nutritionist.

Let's talk about something super important: making sure our kids are getting enough protein in their diets!

Now, I know some of you may be thinking, "But my little ones are following a vegan diet, what do I do?"

Fear not, my friends, I've got you covered with the best plant-based protein sources for our littlest ones.

These little legumes pack a big punch!

Lentils are loaded with plant-based protein, fiber, and antioxidants.

And the best part?

They're so versatile, you can add them to just about anything.

Soup, stew, salad... you name it!

Who doesn't love peanut butter, right?

Well, it turns out it's not just a delicious spread, it's also a fantastic source of protein, healthy fats, and fiber.

Just make sure to go for the natural, unsweetened options without any added sugars.

No need to compromise on taste for health!

These little beans, also known as garbanzo beans, are a fantastic source of plant-based protein.

And they're so versatile!

You can use them in hummus, and salads, or even bake them into crunchy snacks.

Chickpeas are also high in fiber, iron, and magnesium, making them a perfect option for our kiddos.

Nuts and seeds are like little protein powerhouses!

Almonds, chia seeds, and pumpkin seeds are just a few of the best options out there.

Mix them into a trail mix, add them to yogurt, or just give them to your kids as a snack.

So simple, yet so packed with nutrition.

Tofu and tempeh, made from soybeans, are excellent sources of plant-based protein.

Just make sure to choose non-GMO and organic options, and you'll be good to go.

Some soy products can be highly processed and contain harmful additives, so it's always best to choose wisely.

Now, I know some of you may be worried about your kids getting enough protein, but that's where plant-based protein supplements come in.

Vegan protein powders can be a lifesaver for those picky eaters, but always make sure to check with a pediatrician first.

Listen, parents, I care deeply about the health and well-being of our kids.

And I want to make sure they're getting the nourishment they need to grow and thrive.

So, let's get our little ones eating all these delicious plant-based protein sources, and watch them grow into strong, healthy adults!
